Workshop 1
Addressing Challenging Behaviors: Strategies for Tantrumming, Aggression, and Food Refusal
Participants will learn the reasons individuals with autism engage in challenging behavior and what to expect from a professional who completes an assessment of challenging behavior. Participants will then learn to address challenging behavior by predicting when behaviors occur, teaching appropriate replacement behaviors, and changing the way we respond to challenging behaviors when they occur.
