Research Reveals Shorter Life Spans for 
Individuals on the Autism Spectrum

A recent study published in the British Journal of Psychiatry reported shorter life spans in the autism population as compared to their same-age, non-autistic peers. Some of the contributing factors include low functioning, epilepsy, heart disease, depression, and suicide.
